Get ready for weather

Are you eager to fly your drone this spring? Remember, weather conditions can really affect your flight plans. Weather influences drone flying in all seasons. Always plan before you fly. Knowing what weather info you need is important. Things like temperature, precipitation, and wind could affect your drone’s battery life, visibility, and control. For instance, wind and rain are common in spring and could limit your visibility or damage your drone if it’s not waterproof. Also, strong winds could make controlling your drone difficult. Some drones have features to help fly in windy conditions but always stay safe and land if it’s too gusty. As a drone pilot, remember, it’s always better to land safely and fly again another day than risk losing control of your drone due to bad weather.
